Through this lens and context, the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto, invited representatives of the Language Friendly School initiative, to participate in conversations about the importance of multiple language in education and in setting sustainable goals.

As Language Friendly Schools, OIS and Silver Creek from Canada, represented the Language Friendly School initiative, by providing a ‘Motivator’s’speech about what makes them Language Friendly, how we do it, what impact we notice by including languages and why it is so important to be language inclusive.

OIS was represented by Ms. Valentina Spyropoulou, and our school’s vision, practices and language inclusion plans were applauded and encouraged by all participants.
