All aboard and ready to go! Smiling faces and seatbelts on— just before half-term our Group 7 campers set off for an exciting adventure filled with teamwork, fun challenges, and building friendships.

Day 1: Arrival & Fun in the Forest

We kicked things off with snacks and a bit of free play in the beautiful forest area. The weather couldn’t have been better, and the children enjoyed every minute outdoors.

Next up, it was time for our *Taskmaster* activities led by Ms Sabrina! She got everyone into four teams—each with a creative name and a flag. Introducing: Sigma George, The Cheesy Pandas, The Unstoppable, and The Slaybats!

The first tasks?

Fort-Building Challenge: Teams had one hour to build a fort that fit all their members.

Pinecone Toss: The goal was to land a pinecone in a cup from the furthest distance. The winning team managed 23 “Sabrina feet”!

We wrapped up Day 1, after dinner, with a cozy campfire, where the kids’ made s’mores and shared semi-spooky stories. A game of “wolves and rabbits” by flashlight added a fun twist to the night.

Day 2: Games & More Adventures

After a hearty breakfast, our next Taskmaster challenge was to see who could get an egg the highest without breaking it! Later, we ventured into the dunes, where some of the kids even got a turn with an RC dune buggy—It can go 110km and was exciting way to give the local dogs a workout too!

Back at camp, the challenges continued. Our “stand on one leg” contest saw Anagha and Advitha amaze everyone by balancing for over 20 minutes! The children also had a blast drawing images communicated only through touch—a task that brought both laughter and impressive results.

After dinner, we ended the day with a lively talent show and a quiz night, hosted by our amazing Taskmaster.

Final Day: Klimbos Rope Climbing

On our last day, all of Group 7 took on the Klimbos rope courses at Gooi-Eemland. They faced challenges and practiced teamwork.

It was a fantastic camp, packed with adventure and memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you to Mr Ian, Ms Sabrina and Ms Gina who made this trip possible—here’s to more great moments ahead for Group 7, celebrating the class motto “Together, we shine brighter!”.
