Health and Well-being
We promote well-rounded individuals who can thrive in their personal and social lives, make positive choices, and contribute to their communities. Therefore, we have a school-wide programme for Personal, Social, Health and Well-being Education (PSHE). We explicitly teach strategies for managing emotions, stress and relationships effectively, promoting positive self-esteem, resilience and self-awareness. We also encourage empathy and good communication, together with our learners and teach conflict resolutions strategies to develop positive relationships.
This empowers students to make informed decisions about their own health and well-being through teaching health-related topics and by providing age-appropriate education about healthy relationships. This creates a sense of connectedness and belonging, a safe and curious space where learners can develop an understanding and appreciation for the diversity in their community
