British National Curriculum

Though IPC is the driving force of learning at OIS, we use the British National Curriculum (BNC) for mathematics and English. The BNC is a standardised set of subjects used by thousands of schools around the world, offering all children a standardized curriculum. The national curriculum is enquiry based, with a focus on problem solving. It aims to build up children’s abilities as learners. Children work both individually and in groups.
