Community

At Optimist International School we recognise the importance of having a great community. The school, parents and the community play a vital role in working together to promote the health and well-being of the students and to develop a positive attitude towards learning and education – building their motivation and confidence and fostering their enjoyment of learning.

We encourage parents to participate in their child’s learning and in the life of the school and want to ensure that parents feel welcome in our school We also have parents who are part of the Participation Council (PC) or our Volunteering community. Furthermore class representatives are  a welcoming informal network of support and a source of assistance to the class teacher on all sorts of non-educational matters.

All parents are very welcome to use the school facilities including our coffee machine and our warm and welcoming reception space to meet other parents and connect. Together we continue to build a great school community.
